Community Identity & Branding
“heatpunk” is a public, open-source term that describes a broad movement of builders working to bring Bitcoin mining back home through heating devices. We encourage everyone to use it, build with it, and self-identify as a part of the heatpunk ethos.
However, “Hashrate Heatpunks” (HRHP) is a specific community initiative and forum managed by The Space, a nonprofit Bitcoin hub in Denver, Colorado. This community identity includes:
- The HRHP Discourse forum (heatpunks.org)
- The X social media profile (x.com/hashheatpunks)
- The invite-only Telegram group
- The HRHP logo, designed and maintained by the founding members
We ask that others do not use the “Hashrate Heatpunks” name, logo, or likeness in a way that suggests affiliation, endorsement, or impersonation. Doing so may cause confusion, mislead others, and harm the integrity of the community.
If you see someone misusing the HRHP name or branding, please let us know at admin@heatpunks.org.
